The turnip table is a tuber widely used in Mediterranean cuisine, it is also rich in potassium, phosphorus, calcium and vitamin C.
A few simple steps must be followed for its cultivation:
- It is an easy to grow and very fast crop
- They are sown in lines at 30-50 cm
- They prefer humid climates, not very cold
- They don't need too much sun, they grow well in shady places
- They should be collected a month and a half after planting
- When the plant begins to sprout sprinkler irrigation is appropriate
- In the first outbreaks you have to be careful with insects
- Do not over water
- They can be grown throughout the year
