Stoneware Teapots

This type of teapot is characterized by its hardness, opacity  and their low porosity, which makes them resistant to water. Its enamel is merely decorative. These teapots are mostly grayish in color, although they can sometimes have other shades.

Glass Teapots

These teapots are the ones that allow us to see the color of the infusion, or appreciate how the tea leaves open. The technical characteristics of the glass make it the most suitable for flavored teas since the glass does not retain the aromas of the tea, due to its lack of porosity. They are heat resistant as they are made of borosilicate glass 

Cast Iron Teapots

This is the perfect container to prepare tea. They adapt to all types of tea, because the interior is enamelled, this material serves to keep the tea hot for longer, it also provides long durability. although they must be used with care.

Electric Kettle:

This type of kettle offers an elegant and practical solution for preparing infusions and boiling water. They provide speed and electricity savings along with cleaning. You can have boiling water (100º C) for a cup in about a minute.

They are very useful in rooms without a kitchen, such as offices or hotel rooms. In the advanced models, the boiler can be separated from the heating base station.

Maintenance:

In order for the kettle to retain all its qualities and durability, do not should not be washed in the dishwasher or scrubbed with soap and water. You have to empty it, rinse it with clean water and place it upside down to drain, they can dry on the outside but never on the inside. To remove tannins from a teapot, fill it with a solution of two tablespoons of baking soda along with water and leave it overnight, empty it in the morning, rinse well and let it dry. In the case of terracotta teapots, the interior should never be washed. With use, a layer is formed that is vital for the preparation of the infusion.
