Fast growing, deciduous tree. It is prized for its palmate leaves with 5 purple-red lobes when they emerge in spring and then turn green, as well as for the golden hues in the fall before the leaf falls. It also stands out for its smooth bark trunk.

Situation: In Mediterranean climate, outdoors. To avoid burns on the tips of the leaves, it should be protected in summer, from the intense midday sun. In colder climates protect from frost.

Etymology: From the Latin "acer", hard, due to the strength of its wood, and "buergerianum" by the botanist Buerger.
Irrigation: abundantly in summer and moderately in winter. It is convenient to spray the leaves with water during the summer, since it requires environmental humidity.
Suggested substrate for transplantation: 100% Akadama, or mixed with 20% volcanic gravel.

Buongiorno, desidererei vedere più foto della pianta in questione (acero rosso giapponese 34 anni) le dimensioni del vaso altezza della pianta e quante altre più informazioni possibili visto che purtroppo non posso vederla dal vivo. Vorrei posizionarla sul un terrazzo di un attico completamente esposto a sud a Torino. Cordiali saluti
