It can be applied by brush, roller or spray on surfaces that must be clean, dry, dust-free and properly prepared. If painting over previously painted surfaces: If the surface is in good condition, wash, sand and apply Glossy Black Water-Based Tile Paint directly. Otherwise, completely remove the old paint and proceed as if it were an unpainted surface. If painting over previously unpainted surfaces: On wood, previously apply a layer of Multipurpose water-based or Sealant water-based.
