Eco Design is a regulation of the European Commission, which harmonizes the standards of all countries in a single one and affects solid fuel stoves, oriented towards ecological design, for the reduction of greenhouse gases, in which it is required greater energy efficiency, lower emissions of CO and other polluting gases.

This regulation meets the following requirements:

- A yield of 75%.

- CO emissions: Less than 0.12% (equivalent to 1500 mg / m3).

- Particulate emissions: Less than 40 mg / m3.

- Nox emissions (Nitrogen oxides): Less than 200 mg / m3.

- OGC emissions (gaseous organic compounds): Less than 120 mg / m3.
