This Deco Kit Equatair is a barrier and will not allow neither logs nor embers to escape from your fireplace, it cannot be missing with your Equatair heat recuperator, they are 2 associated products, increasing your heating value by 40%! 5000 watts restored with the recuperator alone + 2000 watts with this Deco Equatair cast iron kit = 7000 watts restored!
Composed of four legs and a grate, it allows the Equatair heat recuperator to be slightly raised. It positions the heater at the ideal height for maximum enjoyment of the heat from the fire at the top and the embers falling below.
The rear legs and fire grate form a cradle that centres the wood and optimises the temperature rise of the cast iron element of the Equatair heat recovery unit.
In addition, the rear legs swing the heating body against the bottom of the fireplace for better cleaning.

Avant d'acheter cet accessoire, les cendres s'accumulaient entre les méandres du récupérateur, ce qui diminuait la surface d'échange de chaleur. Je devais enlever les cendres après chaque flambée. Maintenant.t que le récupérateur est surélevé, les braises chauffent par dessous, et l'air qui sort est plus chaud.

Essenziale per il buon funzionamento del recuperatore di calore equatair, unico problema le braci cadono nella parte sottostante e anche i pezzi di legna più piccoli, risolto aggiungendo sopra il recuperatore una griglia di ferro tagliata su misura da una rete di ferro rigida a maglie larghe. Il calore si diffonde per ore dopo che l' ultimo pezzo di legna è bruciato
