A let`s grill brand leader in the market of portable grills with an exclusive and innovative design
The story of UNA Grill began on a hot night in the Ivory Coast. The Soubra gathered around a small wooden table. There was no grill to hand, so they started improvising and came up with their own "do it yourself" version. Dinner went very well, but as a result of roasting at the table, the board broke.
Fortunately, the story did not end there. After many prototypes, the final product was presented at the largest gardening fair in the world, spoga + gafa, in Cologne (Germany). A special thanks to our fans on Kickstarter and the friends who made it possible.
The family behind UNA Grill
For generations, the Soubra have been an international family with roots in Beirut, Lebanon. Amir (father) was born in Tokyo. He lives in Beirut with his wife Salma. Sherif (eldest son) was born in France and currently lives in Amsterdam. His two brothers and their families grew up in Beirut and later created companies in the Ivory Coast.
Food unites us and brings us together. This is what UNA Grill aims to do. One is the Latin word for "together." UNA Grill is a product influenced by many cultures. It was designed in the Netherlands and Germany, with input from Lebanon, and is manufactured in Vietnam.
Our perspective
We found that you don't think much about what a grill looks like, but we wanted to make a pretty object that would turn heads when worn or on the table. Due to lack of space, we wanted something that would be out of the way when you didn't need it, which is why the UNA Grill is compact and easy to store.
Our shoebox size tabletop grill is ideal for 2-3 people. It is a grill that performs very well and gives enough heat to continue cooking for more than an hour. You can easily add charcoal to make the fire last longer for a day at the beach or with a group of friends.
We want to get away from the cliché that cooking on the grill is a "man's thing". UNA Grill invites everyone to experiment with the grill and to try and share their experiences, photos and recipes. We would love to hear your ideas and suggestions about our products and services.
A small grill can do wonders.
