Paşabahçe Mağazaları A.Ş. is the chain of retail stores of the Şişecam Glassware Group. It exports products to 140 countries, has 8 factories and more than 50 physical stores.
Paşabahçe was founded in Beykoz Paşabahçe in 1935 by Türkiye İş Bankası following the directive of Atatürk, the founder of Modern Turkey, to meet the country's basic glassware needs. The company was initially registered as Türkiye Şişe ve Cam Fabrikaları Anonim Sosyetesi. There has always been a small shop at the entrance to the Paşabahçe factory since its inception, but retail activities in the modern sense really began in 1957 with the creation of Paşabahçe Ticaret Ltd. Şti. and the opening of stores in Istanbul Beyoğlu and Ankara.
Initially, the company was engaged in wholesale and retail, but as the wholesale and export business grew considerably over time, Paşabahçe was created in 1982 Perakende Satışlar A.Ş. with the purpose of focusing only on retail stores and the name of this company was later changed to Paşabahçe Mağazaları A.Ş. in 1998.
Since 2000, significant changes have been made to its retail approach, sales methods, décor, presentation, products and staff as part of a "Project of Modernization”. In this project, emphasis is placed on product functionality and modern design, current needs in tableware and kitchens, and new products are designed with a holistic approach, while the limited edition History-Culture- Glass focus on our heritage and cultural values.
Pasabahce Stores offers its customers tableware and kitchen utensils made of glass, ceramic, porcelain, wood and steel, as well as decorative items for the home, under the "Life" and "Boutique" concepts, and It has a total of 50 stores.
