Meireles products

In the 1940s, the brand was differentiated through technology, thanks to the thermal insulation used at that time. Meireles stoves used less energy, a factor that meant the company had 2,000 customers and a network of vendors. In 1946, the manufacture of the first industrial products began, including electric industrial stoves, ovens, electric stoves and bain-marie.

In the 1950s, Meireles began to offer free technical assistance to all its clients as a strategy to differentiate itself from its competitors. There was also an increase in demand for gas stoves. Antonio Meireles meets all the necessary conditions and manufactures the first gas stove made in Portugal.

In the 1970s, its volume of business and production increased considerably and it began to develop models with higher quality and more accessible.

In the 1990s, the company hit an annual production of 65,000 stoves and a market share of 24% in the market for stoves in Portugal.

In 2010 the company began to lead the stove market in Spain.
