Brand: Brycus-Bonsáis
Climbing plant, provided with thorns. Very appreciated for pergolas, and for its flowering, which in climates such as the Mediterranean occurs in abundance, throughout the year.
Family
Nyctaginaceae
Origin
Brazil
Etymology
It owes its name to the botanist Bougainville.
Situation
In areas with a Mediterranean climate, outdoors, in full sun all year round. In colder areas we must protect it from frost.
Irrigation
Of abundant form in summer and moderate the rest of the year. Take care of the quality of the water, since it has a tendency to chlorosis, which is why the leaves turn yellowish. We must know that bougainvillea loses its leaves when overwatered.
