The name derives from the one used by the Romans to designate the holm oak "Quercus ilex", due to the similarity between the leaves of some species.

100% Akadama, or mixed with 20% volcanic gravel.

It can be done throughout the year.

Pinching cutting to 2 leaves when the stem has developed 6 to 8 leaves.
