-We cut, with the jigsaw, two pieces of about forty centimeters on the pallet board. One will serve as the base of the structure and the other, in a vertical position, as a support for the gun.
-In which we will use as a support, we will make a cut taking the height of the gun as a measure. Then we have to make two drawings. The first, from the top, will be destined to be the fulcrum of the hot melt gun. So we have to measure the barrel diameter and mark it with the marker accordingly. The one at the bottom will be the one that fits into the piece that we will use as a base, so we will have to draw a semi-rectangle with the measurements of the width of the table that will be the base.
-With the remaining table we will proceed to draw, towards the center of it, since we will have to leave space for the metal container that will serve for the excess glue to fall, two small squares. Taking as a reference, of course, the width of the support table. The vertical part will be embedded in them.
-The next step is to cut all our drawings with the jigsaw. We will start with the drawing that will be the support of the gun barrel. Once done, you will be left with a semicircular shape. Then, we will continue with the drawing of the semi-rectangle, at the bottom of the support table.
Once we have ready the cut, the support board will be with the semicircular shape upwards and the semi rectangular shape downwards.
We will then proceed to cut the two squares of the base board.
Then we will proceed to remove the excess burr and sand all the holes.
-When this step is ready, we will fit the support table into the base table. The two boards will be perpendicular.
It is not necessary that we glue them. In this way, we can disassemble our support when we finish working with the hot gun.
-We only have one step left. In this, finally, we will use the gun; and it will be to stick the metal container on the base table of our support.
Once the work is finished, we will have a nice structure in which to rest the hot melt gun when we are working with it and we are not using it. In this way we will avoid those annoying remains of excess glue and, above all, we will not burn ourselves.
