How to install a plug

2) Once we have made sure that the room has an already installed socket, it is time to connect the cables from the existing socket to the one we want to create. To do this, we will have to drill the wall to pass the cables, if there is any obstacle between the plugs, and, helping you with the plug cable, pass it until you reach the destination where you want to place your new plug. In this way, the side of the cable with plug will be hanging next to the old plug and the side with the cables open or visible, it will be right in the area where you want to place the new one.

3) Once we have passed the cables from one socket to another, we must connect them. Do not worry because it sounds more complicated than it is, because along with the plug, you will have included the electrical scheme that the cables must follow to provide electricity to the plug. To start connecting the cables, you will first remove the power outlet from the plug. Then you will have to strip the cables with the help of the wire stripper and connect them to each other and to the socket following the scheme mentioned above and, if you do it correctly, you will have provided electricity to the plug.

4) Finally, all that remains is to screw the socket box to the wall. To achieve this, mark the areas where the screws will go with a pencil and carefully drill the holes. Insert the sockets with the cables and screw the cover on.
