9 liter coconut fiber block

Coconut fiber is a substrate with many qualities appreciated for the cultivation of many plant species. Due to its physical structure, it offers a very good water retention and absorption capacity. At the same time it also retains to a large extent the nutrients that we provide, favoring the exchange of cations.

This substrate is 100% natural origin and is used for many types of crops.
Features:

pH: 5.5 to 6.5

Low electrical conductivity

No seeds or plant debris.

Some of the species that are cultivated satisfactorily are, for example, Ponsettia, Hemp, Euonimus, Pothos, Rosales, ...
Rehydration process:

• We put the entire block in a bucket or other container with approximately 4 or 5 liters of water and wait a few hours.
  
• From time to time we try to shred the block a bit to speed up the process.
  
• When it becomes a kind of pasta you are ready to put in the final container or make the mixture you want to prepare.
  

Recommendation:
For urban gardens we recommend using coconut fiber mixed with earthworm humus. This mixture will allow to have a substrate of adequate consistency to make the crops of our vegetables. As a guideline we recommend putting the mixture at 50% (once we have the dried coconut).
