Prebonsai and Bonsai Acer palmatum (Japanese Maple)

Situation: Outside all year round. Protect from the intense midday sun.

Curiosities: Its name in Japanese is "momiji"; the same word is used to designate the color of fall.

GRIPPING

The pinching is done throughout the spring, with the tips of the fingers, the incipient bud is pointed out before it lengthens, leaving the first two leaves. If it has been lengthened, count up to that first couple of leaves.
